I have been studying graphic design, art, and photography for many years now. I received my Bachelor's in Studio Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Photography from Humboldt State University in 2019. From there, I went right into an intensive program at UC San Diego Extension to get my certificate in Graphic and Web Design, which I received in September of 2020. As a graphic designer and photographer, my biggest drive is the ability to use these very powerful means of visual communication to make a positive difference in the world. I am particularly interested in helping the LGBTQIA+ community through my design work, and would love the opportunity to use my skills to make the world a safer place for that community.
Before moving to Michigan, where I am currently located, I had the opportunity to work for the California Wolf Sanctuary in Julian, CA. I have been passionate about animals from a young age, so using my skills in photography and graphic design to help protect wolves was an extraordinary experience for me. I created an infographic describing their rehabilitation plan for community outreach and education. I also took photos of wolves and the opening of the new Visitor's Center to promote the CWC on social media. These works can be viewed on the gallery page.
I have been using Adobe programs for years, so I am very comfortable with the way that they function. This enables me to find the best approach to each new project, and create the best end product for each of my clients.
